Question: Can I use AMSOIL AFF 0W-40 in my new 4-stroke snowmobile?
Answer: Absolutely! AMSOIL AFF 0W-40 was specifically formulated for use in small, hard working 4-stroke engines. AFF is ideal for 4-cycle snowmobiles, ATV's, personal watercraft, 4-stroke boat motors, lawn equipment etc...
Question: Is there any concern about power valves when using AMSOIL?
Answer: The manufacturers have a published maintenance schedule in the owner’s manual concerning cleaning of the power valves. They need periodic maintenance. Tests have shown that our AMSOIL products cause less build up than other oils. Additionally, the use of AMSOIL Power Foam as a cleaner works well. Customers should refer to their owners’ manual, regarding cleaning procedures.
Question: Can I run AMSOIL Performance Improver in my snowmobile, or should I just stick with the Octane Boost?
Answer: The AMSOIL Performance Improver (API) is an excellent gasoline additive to use in two-cycle engines. It helps to lubricate and clean the fuel system as well as preventing carbon formation. It may also be used in conjunction with the Octane Boost.
Question: What is the actual oil weight for the following suspension fluids: STL - Shock Therapy Light and STM - Shock Therapy Medium?
Answer: Shock Therapy Light corresponds to a 5 wt. and Shock Therapy Medium corresponds to a 10 wt.
